President

Brent Osmond B.Comm., CPA, CMA
Mr. Osmond has 15 years of oil & gas experience, nine of which have been in senior executive level roles. As Chief Financial Officer, Mr. Osmond has experience building companies with assets in Alberta, Saskatchewan, British Columbia, North Dakota and Montana. He has guided private equity backed companies and publicly traded companies, and has also taken private companies through liquidity events including IPO and RTO transactions. Mr. Osmond has worked for Husky Energy Inc., Questerre Energy Inc., Perpetual Energy Corp., and Mountainview Energy Inc. in the public domain, and private entities including Nytis Exploration Company Inc. and Prosper Petroleum Ltd. Mr. Osmond is a strategic, creative, solutions-focused executive, having negotiated, structured and sourced over $500 million in debt and equity capital in his career. He is a financial accountant with a CPA (CMA) designation (Alberta), and a B.Comm. from Memorial University of Newfoundland.

Vice President, U.S. Operations

Michael Long
Mr. Long has 16 years of business experience, nine of which have been in executive roles in the oil and gas industry. He began his career at Sunset Management Group, a residential mortgage brokerage firm in Southern California. As Managing Partner of Sunset Management Group, Mr. Long grew the residential loan business before expanding to broker deals in the commercial and bulk distressed assets market. Mr. Long oversaw the growth of the business from inception to over $100 million in loan brokerage. Mr. Long transitioned to oil and gas in 2010, as CEO of Sunset Industries, where he leveraged his experience building a successful business to grow the business to over $20 million in sales. Mr. Long brokered fuel and petroleum products from refiners to retail outlets before leading the successful startup of the oilfield supply company SouthWest Services.

Vice President, Canadian Operations

Dean Pylypchuk B.B.A.
Mr. Pylypchuk brings over a decade of business experience in areas of finance and corporate development in the energy industry. Mr. Pylypchuk began his career at MNP LLP, a National Canadian accounting firm. While at MNP LLP, Mr. Pylypchuk held progressively senior roles in areas of personal and corporate tax, corporate finance, valuation and assurance. Subsequently, as Director of Acquisitions of a boutique private equity company, Mr. Pylypchuk, lead the completion of M&A transactions with a combined value over $100M. Most recently, Mr. Pylypchuk was responsible for sales, commercial development and growth activities related to crude by rail at TORQ Energy Logistics Ltd, a leading crude by rail provider. Mr. Pylypchuk has a Bachelor of Business Administration from the University of Regina.

Vice President, Technology and Data Services

Jeff Tuley
Mr. Tuley brings 20 years of experience in the information technology field. Specifically, in 2004, Mr. Tuley founded and directed NetEvidence, Inc. specializing in computer forensic and data security services. Prior to NetEvidence Mr. Tuley worked with Kroll Zolfo Cooper, a turnaround and restructuring firm, based in New York. His efforts supported recovery of more than $13 Billion in funds for shareholders. Data set collection and analysis has been a focus of his throughout his career. He has assisted a wide range of clients from high wealth individuals to Fortune 500 companies through complex technical challenges and litigation. He has referred cases to and assisted all levels of government including local, state, and federal. Mr. Tuley is a graduate of Lipscomb University in Nashville, Tennessee with a degree in Computer Information Systems and Business Management.
